I am inspired by myth, folk and fairy tales and those intangible forces I sense falling between the cracks of the "real" world and my own. It is here I tap on the door of life's mysteries, to study the realms of the unreal.

As a figurative painter, I explore all manner of visual narratives in a magical realism style. My subject matter spans the story as told by one human face to the collective narratives that form the roots of our most ancient folk and fairy tales as they play out in contemporary culture.
